The Whitemarsh Business Association is an alliance of local businesses, professionals and service providers. Yet, there is more to our name than just “business” – there's the Whitemarsh community! The WBA sponsors the annual Fall Pumpkin Festival, the College Scholarship Fund, our High School Internship Program, a Traveling Art Show, Whitemarsh Wellness Wednesdays, the Township Welcome Wagon and other community events. The WBA has gained momentum as members work together to develop a “small town” feel and achieve its goals...
“To promote the interests of business, foster professional conduct, and provide quality service to its members and the greater Whitemarsh, Plymouth, and Conshohocken communities.”
The Whitemarsh Business Association is hosting our 4th Annual Fall Pumpkin Festival for the benefit of our community. The proceeds from the festival funds our Annual College Scholarship awards to local high school seniors. The event will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 from 12:00 to 5:00pm at Miles Park in Lafayette Hill. (Rain date is Sunday, October 12th.)
We fund this worthwhile community event and scholarship program solely through donations from local businesses such as yours. This event attracts several thousand local residents. Specifically, we are asking for Monetary Donations to help underwrite the Festival events.
We are hoping that you can support the 2008 Fall Festival. This is a great opportunity to promote your business and help fund the Scholarship Program. This year we were able to give away $7500.00 to 8 local high school students. To participate, checks can be made payable to “Whitemarsh Business Association” and mailed to 632 Germantown Pike, Lafayette Hill, PA, 19444.
