Summer is fast approaching, but the Whitemarsh Business Association (WBA)

is already thinking autumn colors and pumpkins because we are busy planning

the upcoming Fall Pumpkin Festival. Our 5th annual Fall Pumpkin Festival will

be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Miles Park in Lafayette Hill

(with a rain date of October 11).

The Fall Pumpkin Festival is an exciting day of food, rides, arts & crafts,

games and entertainment. Over the past five years, the festival has grown in size

and community participation. In 2008, the event drew over 5,000 people. In addition

to being great fun,  the Fall Pumpkin Festival helps fund the WBA’s College

Scholarship Program. This year we were able to grant 15 scholarships to Whitemarsh

Township high school seniors.

In 2009, we want to grow this wonderful community festival even more!

We are reaching out to businesses, organizations and individuals for support.

Ways to participate include financial support, donations of services or products,

or volunteering on the day of the festival.

The WBA is proud to host an event that brings together local businesses, residents and

students in such a positive way.

The success of the Fall Pumpkin Festival and the College Scholarship Program is due

to the generosity and support of our sponsors and local businesses.
